Special Session; WeFACE ‘Climate Data’

‘기후변화'는 우리 사회의 중요한 문제다. 구글 art & culture팀과 함께 작업한 ‘climate change impact filter _ 기후변화 영향 필터' 프로젝트는 지구의 온도가 0도 ~ 5도 까지 상승하면 우리 주변에 어떤 동식물들이 사라지고 남아있는지를 보여주는 온라인 작업이다. 사용자는 화면 오른쪽에 설치된 슬라이드를 이용하여 지구온도 변화를 시도하면 총 74종의 동식물 및 인공물은 사라지기도, 그 자리에 남아있기도 한다. 

‘Climate change’ is an important issue in our society. The ‘climate change impact filter’ project which was collaborated with the Google art & culture team, is an online work that shows what animals and plants around us disappear and what is remained when the earth's temperature rises from 0°C to 5°C. When a user tries to change the global temperature by using the slide installed on the right side of the screen, a total of 74 species of animals, plants and artifacts disappear or remain.
